Gavin Wood presented the third version of the XCM protocol which is almost ready for deployment. That means that soon all parachains will be able to send cross-chain messages to each other and to all Kusama parachains! Thus it will be possible to transfer tokens and NFTs between networks and to build truly interoperable dapps.

The technology of XCM is already being tested, as Moonriver and Kintsugi completed the first cross-chain transaction of their testnets. We hope to see more cross-chain use cases emerging soon.

Parallel introduced the new roadmap, including a multi-chain wallet, a multi-sig crowdloan product, liquid staking and Chainlink integration. Currently Parallel has 3% of all DOTs locked in crowdloans and they have even bigger plans for the rest of the year.
