10M DOT tokens waking up @kusamanetwork 's DeFi 💰

Few understand the value that @kusamanetwork has as a canary network in terms of experimenting apps and gov models in an environment with real assets and engaged communities.

It's important to observe the behavior of the community and the direction in which decisions are made (OpenGov). Another point to be considered is how to spend the treasury (by the community). Even though @gavofyork believes that Kusama's treasury exists to be used!!!

The recent DOT <> KSM bridge will open up a world of opportunities in @kusamanetwork, as asset interoperability will be complete. Today, XCM allows transfers between parachains, and soon it will be possible to transfer tokens between relay chains.

The transfer of assets between Kusama's parachains represents the first and second positions in total XCM transfers. This demonstrates that there is demand between @KaruraNetwork and @BifrostFinance – DeFi and Liquid Staking protocols.

The main issue with Kusama's DeFi is the lack of liquidity, which prevents people from being able to buy in.

In light of this, Gavin Wood stated that the plan is to have 10 million DOTS ($53 million) dumped into the Kusama ecosystem through the @Web3foundation treasury.

This aggressive move would benefit the entire existing DeFi ecosystem on Kusama, led by @MoonriverNW and @KaruraNetwork.

By integrating DOT into the @kusamanetwork ecosystem, a gateway of possibilities for exploring #DeFi and liquidity will be created, enabling experiments involving DOT to be conducted with greater liquidity.
