At present, Bifrost Kusama slot auction has received 139,335 KSM contribution from 5,057 addresses, of which 133,846 KSM voted for the Kusama Crowdloan, and 5,488 KSM reserves for the initial liquidity of vsKSM. Bifrost is currently the first candidate for the fifth slot, with 17,958 KSM ahead of the second candidate. The Kusama candle auction phase will end at 16:30 on July 20. After the unremitting efforts of the community, Bifrost has 97% chance to win the fifth slot of Kusama. The parachains currently connected to Kusama are Statemine, Karura, Moonriver, Shiden and Khala.

Ecosystem

• On July 13, a brief history of cross-chain: from asset bridge to interoperability was published on the Bifrost official account. At present, cross-chain is regarded as the holy grail of the development of the blockchain field and the key technology to realize the interoperability of multi-chain. Some of the current cross-chain technology forms are realizing asset intercommunication, some are proposing a set of communication protocols to realize communication between blockchains, and some are proposing new system architectures and operating modes to support more blockchains Access.

• On July 14, Lurpis, the co-founder of Bifrost, was invited to participate in the Wuya Community AMA. Regarding the significance of Bifrost’s access to slots and the KSM liquidity solution for Parachain bonding, Lurpis gave a detailed solution.

• On July 22, Bifrost Product Manager Tyrone accepted an interview from overseas Twitter KOL MAD Cripto. The interview lasted 1 hour. The content of the interview mainly included the interpretation of the SALP agreement, the benefits of Bifrost’s bidding slots and the use of vToken. • In the fifth slot auction on July 16, Bifrost opened the Asgard hero reward mechanism. When users who vote for KSM help Bifrost lead the second candidate by a certain number of votes, those who complete the KSM lead goal will receive the Asgard hero reward.
