On August 01, DeFi Land and BinanciansVN together organized an AMA session to introduce DeFi Land - Gamified Decentralized Finance.

DeFi Land is a multi-chain agriculture-simulation web-game created to gamify decentralized finance. The game will have all the features that traditional platforms have, but it will be gathered all in one place. DeFi Land gamifies decentralized finance by turning investment activities into games.

DeFi Land is one of the leading projects in Play to earn (P2E) field on Solana. With an experienced development team, DeFi Land team has successfully led companies in different fields such as AR, VR, AI, games, Fintech and ERP, which promises to give DeFi Land a strong advantage to quickly deliver high-quality products.

This AMA was held in BinanciansVN Telegram Group with the participation of DFL Erwin - Team Lead of DeFi Land.

Below is a summary of the outstanding questions and answers from the AMA session.

1. Many of the DeFi projects have been hacked. How do you think the recent events at other DeFi products affect user trust? What can DeFiLand do to ensure crypto enthusiasts that DeFi is safe and reliable?

Erwin:

DeFi Land is focusing on security very seriously. We will be passing the best auditing tests and making our contracts public. Apart from this, we aren’t creating our own swap, liquidity mining or lending & borrowing services. We are aggregating all the different projects in our interface, so in case to hack us, you will have to hack Serum or Raydium. That’s how it works. In addition, our team has good experience in cyber security and system’s architecture. We will give the people the safest way to be on-boarded to crypto

2. Sir what is the most "Ambitious Goal" of the project? I would appreciate it if you could share with us any upcoming updates? What should the community look for?

Erwin:

Our long-term goal is to become a N1 blockchain game (We know it's pretty ambitious, but we have the fundamentals for that!), which is used to on-board the new retail users to DeFi and NFTs. We are planning to be the most popular game by the end of 2022 on blockchain. We will be soon having our beta closed testing, in which we will show the basics of our game. We will be having updates monthly – adding new projects, skins, buildings, and more. Community will be rewarded and appreciated for playing our game. In v2, there will be features such as battles, guilds, adventure and many more. So stay tuned and join our #DeFiLandFamily

3. Can anonymous transactions be performed on the DeFiLand network to hide transaction details to help protect the confidentiality of user information and tokens?

Erwin:

Hmm. In our game you just connect a wallet and perform operations using your already existing wallet. So, we won’t be storing any data or transactions that you do on your own. Players will be able to visit your land see how it looks like, but there will be an option to set your land to private, so people don’t see it. So, the information will be available the same way, as blockchain explorers

4. What kind of partnerships with different projects/platforms/protocols can we expect from DeFi Land in the future? Could you give us some examples of how other projects can leverage DeFi Land?

Erwin:

In v1.0 we will be having Raydium and Serum integrated to our game, along with several wallet supports. As time goes, we will have all the major and popular platforms on Solana integrated in v1. Once we go to BSC, Ethereum and other chains we will be adding Uniswap, Sushiswap, Pancake and more.

On the other hand, Different projects would want to be integrated in DeFi Land as we will be giving them new users, through our game, give them liquidity, and lots of engagement. Also there are lots of potential NFT integrations coming with characters, animals, music and many more

5. With so many projects being rug pulls and exit scams happening nowadays. What would you offer to the users of your platform to earn their trust and how would it make you different from others projects alike?

Erwin:

There are several reasons that guarantee our security/reputation:

1. Our amazing backers – We have been blessed to be backed by lots of outstanding investors, who put their name, money and reputation behind us.
2. Outsourcing functions- as you know, our project isn’t creating liquidity on our own, or our own DEX, we are running on top of already existing ones. So whenever you swap some tokens, you will be interacting with Serum but in a seamless way. So in order to hack our platform, you will have to hack Serum
3. We will be passing the best audit process in the world to show that our contracts, architecture and game are all safe to use.

6. How strong is your team? Many projects started with a good impression and later abandoned the project. What makes your project different from others?

Erwin:

Our team has been working together for 5 years already on different projects in gaming, augmented/virtual reality, fintech and machine learning. We have worked with the biggest names such as AWS, Nvidia, Microsoft Hololens and more. Our team is fully committed to this project, we will be having several years of vesting on our tokens as well. Gaining trust from the biggest funds in the ecosystem is one of the examples of experience and dedication of our team. We are here to build the best UX/UI for the new users joining crypto, while keeping already experienced DeFi customers happy and incentivized.

7. DefiLand is one of the rare blockchain gaming platforms and the only one related to NFT. How do gamers get rewarded? Is DefiLand just a game that entertains and rewards players? Are there any other use cases?

Erwin:

Users will be incentivized in many ways. To start with, there will be achievements and daily quests. If the user completes tasks as well as achievements, they will receive our DFL tokens + unique NFTs. We will be having both, on-chain related tasks for users as well as some to-dos to interact with the game itself (pat the animals, clean your area and more). Apart from this, there will be a marketplace to trade with our in-game assets (which are NFTs). In v2, there will be lots of more ways to earn money such as battles, guilds, mini-games and more.

In the live questions section, Erwin did answer several short questions from the BinanciansVN community.

1. Which of these aspects is important to you? Increasing token price and value, Platform development - empowering, Building community trust, Expanding partnerships globally. In what Order?

Erwin:

They are all important but the main goal for sure is the platform development and empowering the new users. We want to show the world that DeFi and NFTs are normal and easy to use

2. Revenue is an important aspect for all projects to survive and maintain the project/company. What is your plan and way to generate profit/revenue from tokens? In this regard, please explain your income model?

Erwin:

Indeed, revenue is important to have for a project to survive. We have several income sources:

Transaction fees split- we will be splitting the fees generated with the Serum, Raydium and other platforms. You won't have to pay anything more than using Serum, but we will receive some Cashback from the projects itself.

NFTs - we will have a NFT marketplace, which will be the main revenue generator for us.

New listings, launchpad and new asset creation - we will be receiving some revenue for listing new tokens and projects in our game.

And many more ways as well.

3. Only getting users, holders etc is not everything. In my opinion, a project needs to deal with solving a real world issue or problem. What is the problem that your project primarily focuses on?

Erwin:

We think so as well. We are addressing the problem that no one else is trying to solve.

We went to bring DeFi and NFTs to the masses. We want to show them that it's okay to use it and you don't have to have a PhD to farm.

We want to give the people around us knowledge and source of income through our game. That's our main purpose

4. Where can I buy your tokens right now what is your current contract and how can I buy them??" Will you have any other DeFI features like staking, yield farm or NFT in the future? -Can share a little about your roadmap???,"

Erwin:

I'll be answering this one, because it's really important.

Our DeFi Land token - $DFL is not out yet.

If you see any token/contract stating that it is a DeFi Land token, please report it. There is no DFL out yet. We will be having a public sale later in Q3 and then will be listed on many different exchanges

5. What are your top 3 things for priorities in 2021? Could you share some plans for the upcoming year?

Erwin:

1. Successfully launch the game and onboard several thousand daily active users
2. Create an educational land, which will help the new users to understand how to use the DeFi and NFTs
3. Have multiple language support/communities to tell the world, we are coming

6. While you build your project, do you take into account community feedback and demands?While you build your project, do you take into account community feedback and demands?

Erwin:

We are already working on implementing the Governance function to our game. Our token holders, you, the players, will be able to govern our game and choose the way it should develop

7. What is Defi Land mining with Defi Land and what are its advantages. What are the advantages of dual mining with Defi Land?

Erwin:

Basically in our game, you can do everything you do, let's say on Raydium, but you will receive prizes in DeFi Land. Have friends, guilds, battles and many more

8. What are the Major Utilities of #DeFiLand Which would be beneficial to #DeFiLand Investors/Holders too?

Erwin:

DFL token will be used for different purposes. Staking, governance, NFT buying/selling in our marketplace and many more

9. Which feature of DeFi Land is most likely to become a core competitiveness in the future? What is the future development direction of DeFi Land? Which area is preferred?

Erwin:

We have two different versions for our game

In V1 we will be creating more of a "gamified Zapper" experience. So that you have all the popular projects around you at the same place and while interacting with them you receive prizes.

In v2, we will be leaning towards a more gamified version and the long-term goal is to become a game. We will have features such as battles (like Clash of Clans), mini games inside, and many more
