Curve Finance will bring an AMM to Equilibrium Polkadot Parachain

At present, the Polkadot ecosystem is among the newest and most revolutionary ones in the crypto market. Due to the high cost when swapping assets on Ethereum, Curve Finance’s AMM is trying to find a solution on the Polkadot blockchain.

Recently, Equilibrium has just announced they would collaborate with Curve Finance to bring a Substrate-based runtime version of Curve’s automated market maker (AMM) to Equilibrium’s users and to the Polkadot ecosystem.

With this deep strategic partnership, Curve will be responsible for supervising business logic implementation as well as fully supporting during the development process to make sure AMM be integrated with Equilibrium.

“We’re excited to see the demand for stablecoin liquidity driving the technology to other chains,” Curve Finance CEO Michael Egorov said in a statement. “Deep liquidity is vital for adoption of new applications like Equilibrium, as well as for the adoption of new blockchains themselves.”

With this partnership, once complete, the projects can help users to benefit several things:

• Achieving passive income for liquidity providers in a low-slippage environment.
• Being able to unlock deep liquidity by design.
• Receiving the support from the Open Grant Program delivered by the Web3 Foundation.
