To celebrate the launch of Open Emoji Battler, we're happy to announce the first airdrop and giveaway. Anyone can join, and participants will get EMO NFTs, so claim yours now! This post describes how to participate in the event.

Open Emoji Battler is an indie blockchain game led by the community. This is the first playable game in the Polkadot ecosystem using Substrate blockchain framework. It's a browser auto-battler game (inspired by Hearthstone Battlegrounds) that players face strategic PvP battles. The game is fully running on-chain and open-sourced.

EMO (emoji) NFTs are tokens that will be usable in gameplay.

In this event, participants can claim preEMOs that will be converted into EMO NFTs in the future. This event will end on June 12th, 00:00 am UTC.

There are 4 ways to claim preEMOs.

1. Gameplay Airdrop
2. Twitter Giveaway
3. For RMRK users, RMRK Airdrop
4. For Unique Network users, Unique Airdrop

Let's check each of them.

Gameplay Airdrop

You can claim a preEMO after playing the game and getting 3rd place or higher in a 4 player match. You don't need fees. The maximum supply is 500. Players who already played the game before also need to complete this again to be qualified.

Twitter Giveaway

By participating in this easy Gleam Twitter competition, 10 winners will get preEMOs. I'll send messages to the winners on Twitter after the event ends.

RMRK Airdrop

If you had used RMRK (e.g., Singular, KodaDot) at the snapshot time, you can claim a preEMO. The snapshot was taken on May 25th, 06:00 am UTC (Kusama block #7620823). The addresses that were only used for EMOTE are not qualified. To claim, you need a small amount of KSM to submit a transaction on Kusama. Unique Airdrop

If you had an NFT on Unique Network at the snapshot time, you might be able to claim a preEMO. The snapshot was taken on May 25th, 06:00 am UTC (Unique TestNet 2.0 block #897185). To claim, you need a small amount of KSM to submit a transaction on Kusama. Claim it here, and the full list of qualified addresses is here.

Note

• What you claim in this event are preEMOs, not EMO NFTs.
  • preEMOs are not transferable or usable.
  • preEMOs will be converted into NFTs in the future, and the date and the implementation (e.g., RMRK 1.0, RMRK 2.0, Statemine pallet-uniques, etc.) are still under consideration.
  • We'll send the EMO NFTs to preEMO holders' addresses, so people who've already claimed won't need to take additional steps.
• We don't have a UI to view your claimed preEMOs, but you'll be able to check it after the end of this event.
• Emojis and parameters of EMOs are not fixed yet.
• The current chain is named "PrototypeNet," but we'll bring EMOs and your accomplishments to the mainnet.
