  • Motion 152, to fund a virtual conference on Smart Contracts on Polkadot - WASM, was approved by the council. 
  • Motion 153, to select a curator for the Anti-Scam Bounty, was approved. The curator under consideration is a 3-of-4 multi-sig consisting of representatives of the Web3 Foundation, the Polkadot Ambassadors Program, and the Polkadot Council. For specific details, go here.   • The Polkadot Pioneers Prize Incentive Program has been funded, and curators are in the process of being approved using Motion 154. The proposed curator is a multisig consisting of representatives from W3F, Astar, Acala, and the community. For details, see here. Total prize funding available is 993,286.08 DOT split between two challenges.
  • Acala’s post on a potential proposal to get DOT liquidity from the Treasury is still being discussed.
  • A potential Treasury proposal for funding Substrate Rust dependencies is looking for more feedback. 
  • Subscan published a post on a potential Treasury Proposal for funding the infrastructure for Subscan. It also published another post for funding its Cloudflare Enterprise infrastructure.
  • PolkaWorld published a post on a potential Treasury Proposal for PolkaWorld operating costs from March to May 2022. 
  • There is a post seeking feedback on the future of the Polkadot parachain auction schedule. Please read and offer any opinions you may have. 
  • Kian has issued the latest update on how the minimum nominations issue is being ameliorated.

  • The five winners of the latest batch of parachain auctions were: SORA Kusama Parachain, Integritee Network, Darwinia Crab, Litmus, and KICO. Welcome to the chaos! 
  • With the passing of Referendum 173, Kusama was upgraded to runtime v9160. For details on what changes were made in runtime v9160, see the release notes for Polkadot 0.9.16.

  • Shiden dApps are now tracked on DappRadar.

  • Binance Labs makes strategic investment in Manta Network for Web3 privacy.
  • Astar Network announces $100M Astar Boost Program.
  • Interlay presented at ETH Denver 2022.
  • Manta Network presented at ETH Denver 2022.
  • GameDAO to launch on Acala.
  • Integritee released an update on what’s next after their parachain auction win.
  • Snapshot has been integrated into Astar Network. Now, dApp projects on Astar are able to use Snapshot to start on-chain governance and decentralized voting.

  • Phala released Phala Weekly #70 with updates on Chainlink integration and the Phala World Cyborg NFT. Also, Phala announced End Game, their final testnet. Registrations are open now and the prize pool is 1,100,000 PHA and some Phala World NFTs.
  • Litentry released a new weekly ecosystem round up with updates on its mobile app, Drop3, Web3go, and more. 
  • Darwinia released a new article in its Build on Darwinia series.
  • ChainX will launch the Bitcoin cross-chain process using Taproot technology.

🌎 Community & Ecosystem

  • A new article on Polkadot A-Z, N for NPoS has been posted. 
  • The video from the latest Substrate Seminar, a fireside chat with developers from Manta, Interlay, Parallel, Astar, Centrifuge, Phala, and Parity, is now available online. 
  • Polkadot Decoded is returning 29-30 June as a hybrid event, with events in Berlin, Mexico City, New York, and either Singapore or Shanghai (TBD). If you are interested in presenting, there is a call for proposals. 
  • Polkadot released a new video on YouTube, Introduction to Parachains and Crowdloans.
  • Did you know that anybody can request a grant for a specific project to address useful or unsolved issues for Polkadot, Kusama & Substrate by submitting a Request for Proposals? Find the list of open RFPs here.
