Today I'm exploring different social networks to find ways to make Subsocial easier to access for creators from other platform. I focused on web2 and web3 solutions: Twitter, Mastadon, Farcaster, Mirror.xyz, BlueSky, Substack

The main difference was in the availability of content: if with web2 platforms you have to play cat and mouse to get access even to your own data, or pay thousands to get hundreds of posts a day, which is nothing for social networks!!!

With web3, you can get everything you need without any obstacles. It can be a separate product like Searchcaster for Farcaster, or a transaction explorer and a few lines of code like Mirror.xyz, but it's possible, open and free forever!

I can easily migrate the social graph to Subsocial via writing small service for it, other platforms can do the same with Subsocial, because all the data is also free forever and available here: https://squid.subsquid.io/subsocial/graphql

I think this is a huge achievement for web3 social and I'm excited to be part of the team building the next generation!
