Polkadot's $DED: A Timeline of the Memecoin Airdrop and Trading Launch
$DED Timeline 🐦
- March 18 — A snapshot was taken at Block 19,952,000 with the DOTisDED snapshotter (see announcement). DOT holders will receive 36 DED for each DOT as of this snapshot.
- March 19-21 — "Existential Deposit" (ED) Distribution was executed, with 0.01 DOT sent to over 1.3MM accounts. This ED distribution was a prerequisite for mass DED distribution of 36 DED for each 1 DOT. ED was distributed to everyone in the snapshot even if they had assets on AssetHub already.
- March 23-25 — (complete, but see Fixes below) - Initial Airdrop of 49.8B DED (5% of total potential supply) has been 100% completed! Potential fixes are still under consideration.
- March 27 — HydraDX Isolated Pool Trading Added - see announcement -- Buy/Sell DED here.
- March 28 — DED Thawing for all accounts initiated
