Talisman

Talisman is building a multi-chain wallet for Polkadot, Kusama, and their parachains! This would be a huge upgrade from Polkadot.js, in my opinion, as it has its own dedicated webpage for viewing the tokens you currently hold and all the parachain crowdloans you’ve participated in. On top of that, it also has a parachains page that you can contribute to active crowdloans. Talisman is currently in its beta stage and is open to the public! You can still buy their NFT key but it is no longer required to use the wallet.

Lets take a deeper look into Talisman!

Portfolio

This is the bread and butter of the Talisman wallet. Unlike other Polkadot / Kusama wallets, Talisman lays everything out for you very nicely under “Portfolio”. As said before, not only does it lay out your DOT and KSM, it also shows you all the parachain crowdloans you’ve participated in.

Crowdloans

Another amazing feature of Talisman wallet is being able to nicely see the crowdloans under “Crowdloans”. Within a few seconds of viewing the page you have a general understanding of how the crowdloans are doing and you don’t need to do any more digging.

Talisman Browser Extension

Talisman also offers a browser extension. In this example, I am using it on Firefox. What the extension does is shows you the tokens that are in your wallet and allows you to easily transfer those tokens. It also allows you to manage several accounts.

My favorite part of the Talisman extension is the toolbar. This adds so much functionality to Polkadot and Kusama by making an easier to use wallet. Unlike other wallets, you can now just open the browser extension and send funds to whomever you like without ever having to go to the Polkadot.js website. You can also check your balances the same way.
